Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of DetailerBook, online booking software for auto detailing businesses, operated by GoScaleGrowth ("we", "us"). By creating an account or booking through a DetailerBook page, you agree to them.

What DetailerBook does

We give detailing businesses a booking page and a dashboard to manage appointments, customers and revenue. We are not a detailing company. We do not perform, supervise, guarantee or insure any detailing work. Every appointment is an agreement between the customer and the business they booked.

Accounts

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure.
• Give accurate business information, and keep your prices, services and hours current.

Price and payment

New accounts start with a free trial. After that, a business keeps using DetailerBook on a monthly plan bought on detailerbook.com; plans renew monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel any time from your account on the website. We give existing accounts notice by email before any price change. Nothing is sold inside the iPhone app.

Payments for detailing work happen directly between the customer and the business. Prices shown on a booking page are set by that business and are estimates until the business confirms them.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload — logos, banners, descriptions, service lists and your customer records. You grant us permission to host and display that content for the purpose of operating your booking page. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.

Acceptable use

Don't use DetailerBook to:

• break the law, or advertise services you are not licensed or able to perform;
• upload content you don't have rights to, or that is misleading, hateful or obscene;
• send unsolicited messages to people who did not agree to hear from you;
• impersonate another business, or claim a booking link designed to mislead;
• attempt to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorized access to the service or to other businesses' data.

We may suspend or remove an account that does these things.

Customer data is your responsibility

When your customers book with you, their information is yours to handle lawfully. If you contact them by text or email, follow the rules that apply to you, including obtaining consent where it is required. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process this data on your behalf.

Availability

We work to keep DetailerBook running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, pause or discontinue features. If we shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your bookings.

Cancelling

You can stop using DetailerBook at any time and ask us to delete your account and data — see the Privacy Policy for how. We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, normally after notice.

Disclaimers and liability

DetailerBook is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for lost profits, lost bookings, missed appointments, or damage arising from detailing work performed by a business you found or booked here. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months or $100.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted by the date above and, where appropriate, emailed to account holders. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts serving Merced County, California.
